This year at the women's 7s tournament in Tokyo the New Zealand were hot favourites to win a medal. Their first game was against Kenya the black ferns won 29 to 7.The black ferns beat Fiji in the semi final with a game winner try in overtime.In the final the black ferns beat France 26 to 12. Their captain is Sarah Hirini, she was born in 1992. The black ferns were so pumped to get gold and so was New Zealand.
